Every US public school has a SchoolGrade, and every district with three or more graded schools has an average. If yours is worth showing off, put it on your school or district site with a free badge that updates itself and takes one paste.
Grades computed for all US public schools by the SchoolGrade data team.
Get your school’s badge
Type your school’s name and pick it from the list. Add the city if the name is common.

Embed code
The badge links to your school’s page here, which is how visitors can verify the grade is real. Keeping that credit link is the one condition of use.
Prefer a file?
Download the badge as SVG and host it yourself. A downloaded copy freezes today’s grade; the embed code above stays current on its own.
Example
Get your district’s badge
Type your district’s name and pick it from the list. The badge shows the average SchoolGrade of the district’s graded schools, or its rank among the state’s districts when it holds one of the top three spots.

Common questions
Is it really free? Yes. The only requirement is the credit link in the embed code, and you may qualify it with rel=”nofollow” if you prefer.
Who can use it? Schools and districts themselves first of all, plus PTAs, community organizations, and local sites. We ask that the badge not be used in contexts that are misleading, hateful, or discriminatory, and we may withdraw permission where it is.
What does the badge show? Your school’s current overall SchoolGrade, or its city ranking when it holds one of the top spots. A district badge shows the average grade of the district’s graded schools, or its rank among the state’s districts when it is in the top three. When the data refreshes, the badge updates on its own.
How are districts ranked? By average SchoolGrade across their graded schools, within their own state, among districts with five or more graded schools. States are never ranked against each other.
Our grade seems low. Can we still use it? Yes, the generator works for every school and district. The badge shows the real grade, so it is up to you whether it is one worth displaying.
